What happens to your data
- Each tool runs in your browser, on your device.
- Nothing you type or open is sent to us.
- You do not need an account.
One exception, only if you ask for it: the invoice generator can email the finished PDF to you.

These rules come from our About page and our disclosure page. You can check each one against the reviews and tools themselves.
We use it first
We open the account, set the product up and use it the way a customer would. A review does not go up before that.
Commission does not pick the winner
Some links pay us when you buy, and your price stays the same. We decide what to recommend before we look at which company pays.
The same questions for every product
We ask the same questions of every product in a category. This means a 4.2 in one hosting review is worth roughly the same as a 4.2 in the next.
You can check our working
Every tool page shows the assumptions behind its numbers. If you find a mistake or an old price, tell us. We update a review when the product changes.
